New Horizons for Youth at IZTECH: ISKUR Youth Program Started.
The İŞKUR Youth Program has been launched at the Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) to support young people in preparing for business life. This program, run by the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), guides university students in career planning, job search skills and transition to business life.
As part of the program, students are provided with both theoretical and practical training on various topics such as resume preparation, interview techniques, communication skills, business ethics, on-the-job training and entrepreneurship. The aim is for students to step into the business world more equipped and confident after graduation.
Students who showed great interest in the first sessions held at IZTECH stated that such programs contribute not only to technical knowledge but also to personal development. The program, which strengthens university-student-state cooperation, aims to reveal the potential of young people and make them more suitable for the needs of the labor market.
In a statement made by the IZTECH Rectorate, it was stated that such programs that contribute to the professional orientation of young people will be supported sustainably. İŞKUR officials announced that students will be given participation certificates at the end of the program and that successful candidates will be offered various internship and job opportunities. İŞKUR Youth Program is expected to reach more students and become widespread in other universities in the future.
