On 20 October 2026, we welcomed representatives of the İzmir Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) to our department as part of ESE101 – Introduction to Energy Systems in the 2026–2027 Fall Semester.

The event featured an introduction to MMO and its activities, followed by a presentation by the MMO Student Membership Commission. A presentation on engineering ethics also gave our students the opportunity to learn about professional responsibilities and ethical principles.

Hosted by our department, this meeting marked a first step for our future colleagues to get to know the Chamber and build connections with it.

We thank the representatives of MMO İzmir Branch for their participation and valuable contributions.
