Our department faculty member Assoc. Dr. Ziya Haktan KARADENİZ gave a seminar at the ASHRAE Winter Conference.
The ASHRAE Winter Conference, an annual event organized by ASHRAE, an international professional organization with 51,000 members from 139 countries, was held in Atlanta, USA this year. The conference is a platform that brings together ASHRAE members from all over the world and other representatives working in the field of air conditioning, where ideas are exchanged and decisions are taken in order to advance the work in this field by considering the public interest. The active participation of the industry in the process is ensured with the AHR Expo event, which is one of the biggest fairs of the air conditioning industry in the world, organized together with the conference. İzmir Institute of Technology Energy Systems Engineering Department Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Ziya Haktan Karadeniz gave a seminar titled “Employing 3D Printers for Swift and Adaptable Additive Manufacture of HVAC&R Components” as part of the conference. In the seminar with more than fifty participants, the transformation of the air conditioning industry from the perspective of additive production was discussed.
