Asst. Prof. A. İpek Paksoy earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and her master’s and doctoral degrees from Boğaziçi University. She worked as a researcher at the University of Surrey from 2022 to 2025.

Her research focuses on carbon capture and utilization, sustainable fuel and chemical production, hydrogen, and catalytic conversion technologies. Dr. Paksoy is a co-inventor of an international patent related to methanol production from CO₂.
