Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2221 Program, hosted by our Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Gülden G. Akkurt, Prof. Dr. Reza Zarghami, Tehran University-Iran Faculty Member, will be in our department as a Visiting Researcher between 09.10.2024-08.10.2025. We welcome him and wish him success in his studies.

Short Bio:

As a highly accomplished chemical engineer, I, Reza Zarghami, specialize in data science, modeling and simulation, and pharmaceutical engineering. My academic background is formidable, having obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran and completed a postdoctoral research program at Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada.
Currently, I serve as a Professor of the Chemical Engineering School at the University of Tehran. The School of Chemical Engineering boasts 50 reputable and accomplished professors, in addition to 27 staff members and a student body of over 1500 enrolled in a diverse range of programs. These programs encompass Process Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Nano Engineering, Bio Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Gas Process Engineering, and Energy.
