About mass courses!
As of the Fall Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, General Culture Courses are given by the Department Headship with the codes HIST201, HIST202, HIST203, HIST204, TURK201, TURK202, TURK203 and TURK204. In accordance with the 5th paragraph of the 8th article of the IZTECH Undergraduate Education-Training Regulation, “There should be no overlap in the courses chosen by the student. However, in case of repetition of the courses determined by the Senate, where the attendance requirement is met and the courses are failed, the attendance requirement is not required.” and in the 2nd paragraph of the 9th article, “In case of repetition of the courses determined by the Senate, where the attendance requirement is met and the courses are failed (except for NA and W grades), the attendance requirement is not required.” You can access the decision of our Institute Senate dated 10.10.2024 and numbered 27/4 regarding the inclusion in the scope by clicking on the link below.
