Abstract:

Enercast was founded in 2011 in Germany. The company is a leading technology provider for weather-based artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of renewable energy. Its self-learning SaaS products deliver accurate power generation forecasts for wind and solar plants, thus enabling the integration of renewable energy into power grids and energy markets worldwide. enercast delivers 100 million forecast data points per day to over 20 countries around the globe, covering 240 GW of installed capacity.

Short Bio:

Görkem Teneler is the Head of Sales at enercast. He has a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from IZTECH in 2010 and an MSc. in Wind Power Project Management from Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2011. He has ten years of experience in academia and industry, focusing mainly on the European market and business development in B2B sales of energy forecasting tools and wind resource assessment. Some of his organizational participations are IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) as a wind energy expert, İzmir Wind Symposium and Exhibition Steering Committee Member and Chamber of Mechanical Engineers İzmir Branch as a board member.
